Jewelry Care

Rivertown Metal’s jewelry is made from natural metals that are sensitive to their environment. Brass, bronze, and silver will naturally tarnish with time and contact with the elements. Though our jewelry is made durable, it is also delicate by nature and should therefore be handled and stored with special care.

Humidity may accelerate the tarnishing process. Avoid wearing your metal jewelry in the shower or while swimming. Pieces should not be stored in bathroom or other humid environments.

To restore pieces to their original shine, you can use a polishing cloth, silver polish, or brass cleaner. Mild soap and water may also be used to clean jewelry. Always make sure to dry your jewelry off completely after cleaning.

Shipping

Each and every piece is made to order, unless otherwise noted; therefore please allow 1-3 weeks for fabrication prior to shipping.

Items are shipped domestically via USPS Priority Mail. Your tracking number will be emailed to you after shipment.

Repairs

Rivertown Metals will repair pieces if needed. If a repair is necessary, please email rivertownmetals@gmail.com with a photograph of the piece and a description. If it falls under our responsibility, we will cover repair costs. Additionally, repairs are available for damages that occur from regular wear and tear; these instances are evaluated on a case by case basis and may incur a small repair fee.

Returns

If you are unsatisfied with anything, please contact us within 14 days for a full refund. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If outside of the 14 day window, refunds will be given via store credit.
